Setting up

  1. Install & open the app
    It lives in your system tray and starts automatically with your computer.
  2. Sign in with your Claude account
    Connect your Claude account so the app can show your usage. Your account stays on your computer.
  3. Plug in your cube
    On first boot it shows a Wi-Fi network name and a pairing code on its screen.
  4. Connect it to your Wi-Fi
    Join the cube's setup network from your phone, pick your home Wi-Fi, and enter the password.
  5. Enter the pairing code
    Type the code from the cube's screen into the app. That links your cube to your computer.
  6. Done
    Your cube now shows live usage and updates on its own.

How it works

The desktop app reads your Claude usage on your computer and relays the numbers to your cube over the internet — so it works on any home network, with nothing to configure on your router. Geiger is an unofficial, independent product and is not affiliated with Anthropic.
